Good job Casey and Russell!

Jeff on the road in 65 Lemans ragtop!

Ok I won’t lie….I missed this game completely today as I was playing softball myself. We went 2-1 and I hit 500 and made a couple of nice plays at third down here in Brush Prairie Washington…..Whoppee!

Anyway I found out we lost and Russell Branyan muscled a ball into the third deck at Yankee stadium….wow

Mostly wanted to say good job to Casey Kotchman for going 274 games without an error…..until today. Casey Kotchman may not have given us everything we wanted at the plate (who has?) but he is a great defensive player who keeps his nose to the grindstone and is fun to watch playing first.

Still possible to win this series with a win tomorrow then it’s on to Boston for Downtown Daren Brown and the motley crew of Mariners….

As for me we play in the morning facing double elimination then I’m on the road heading for the Oregon Coast via Salem in a 1965 Pontiac Lemans………..will keep you posted.http://jeffsmariners.com

  1. Ha sweet! I played in a tournament in brush prairie a couple weekends ago. Nice fields…

  2. Yes they certainly are unique fields…Go Mariners

  3. That home run by Branyan was huge! When he hits the ball he always seems to get solid contact. I kept watching the replays of that HR and the camera guys can’t even find it.

    • Jeff, I never actually got to see it,just where it landed. I hope they don’t mess around this offseason with Branyan. He deserves another year….jeff
